Red Drops
June 08, 2005
It actually rained a little today — that's a very good thing. At the risk of sounding like Eric Olthwaite, it's something Adelaide really needs — so far, this year, we've only had about a third of our normal rainfall to this time of the year.
I shifted my daily walk to late afternoon, and took my macro lens — I found another one of those poinsettias, with the occasional spheres of water poised on its bracts.
Details: Nikon 105mm 1:2.8 macro, f/2.8, 1/125s, ISO 320.

Beautiful job on the drops. The eye needed to see this picture is what I hope I will develop over time.

Very nice. I like that the water looks so crystal clear on the bright red leaves.

This works really well. The depth-of-field is spot-on and the colours gorgeous.
