Leafy Sea-dragon Festival - the Day
Theen's Tai Chi group had been organized to give a demonstration, today, at the Leafy Sea-dragon Festival in Normanville (about an hour's drive south of Adelaide). Today was one of those lovely autumn days that are neither too hot nor too cold, but just right.
We ended up spending most of the day down there, and I came home with 1.5GB of raw image files. So I plan to spread things out a bit and cover different aspects of the day, each day, for a couple of days. Today it's the turn of the day — the views and the weather.
The third shot deserves a mention. I was walking along, composing the shot as I walked (to keep up with the subject). When I was happy, I paused, took the shot, then started walking, still looking through the viewfinder. Big mistake — about a yard on from the point I stopped at, the sand took a sharp 8 inch rise — easily enough to send me (and my camera) flying to the ground. Neither of us seem harmed, though.

Really beautiful blues in these pictures. My favorite is the first one, although I also love the series as well.
Sorry about the triple post. My pinkie slipped!

That first shot is excellent. Totally postcard material.
