More extreme macros (about 3x magnification on the camera sensor). This time some miniature marigold flowers, and a marigold bud. Also a 'normal' view, to set the scale.
On another note, via Mark Hamilton of 4x6, checkout the fascinating Face of Tomorrow. Described by the artist as 'Ethnic and regional diversity - the effects of globalization on local populations', it consists of morphs of 100 people from each of about 20 cities — a pair of 'future faces' for each of those cities.
