Red Valerian
October 23, 2005
The flower that I've always known as simply Valerian, but that my trusty dictionary assures me is Mediterranean Red Valerian (Centranthus ruber). Seen here, set against a bluish-black gravestone at the same cemetery as yesterday.
Details: Nikon 105mm 1:2.8 macro, ~f/2.8, 1/125s, ISO 200.
Note: I'm currently way behind on daily posting, having been away, and not in the posting 'mood', for a while. I'll be spending the next while catching up.

Loved your blog and photos!
I am requesting permission to use your Valerian flower photo for seed sales on ebay. I am a reputable small scale hobby grower who sells plants/seeds on ebay. Am happy to give credit to the photographer if you wish.Check out our 15 auctions this week under the seller name 123appleseed.
I would need you to send me a link to your photo blog if permission is given.
Let us know what you think.
Sincerely seedy things to say,
Annie
