Easter Lilies Again

March 31, 2005

The Easter Lilies (Amaryllis Belladonna) are back, but this time they're on film!

That's right — I got my first roll of transparency film in many years, back, today. This roll's from my 45 year-old Kodak Retina 1B. Overall, I was quite pleased with the results. There are a couple I forgot to focus for (you have to measure, or estimate, the distance to the subject — no rangefinder), and a couple I got the exposure wrong on, but no light leaks. The bigger suprise was that several of them are completely unexposed, so I think the shutter is sticking (most likely at higher speeds).

Details: Kodak Retina 1B, Fuji Sensia 100, f/2.8, ~1/250s, ISO 100.
